A few things my time in Bali has taught me

Yesterday I left Bali after 5 months. What an adventure and how lucky I feel! ☀️ 🌴

Of course this was not always possible, 5 years ago I worked full time in a exciting but hectic event job. And now I’ve been living in Bali for 5 months! Wow!

It has been an incredible adventure and soooo much to reflect on…

Here’s a few things my time in Bali has taught me…

☀️ You are never alone, home is within and you can always come back to this place

☀️ When I feel lost and fearful I know I have become unaligned and need to reconnect to my practises

☀️ Intuition is always your guide - your body, your breath is always telling you something - connect and learn to understand what these signals mean

☀️ Take people where they are at now, not where they might be or have been, where they are at now

☀️ Actions speak louder than words

☀️ When someone triggers, upsets or annoys you - check in and find out why - it’s you not them it’s you

☀️ Not everyone is for you and not everyone will like you and that is ok

☀️ What you put out you get back - you put out joy - you will get joy - you put out fear you will get fear

☀️ Listen to others but don’t follow their advise religiously, take their opinion for what it is…. THEIR opinion

☀️ Love conquers all - love and kindness goes so far, smile, say hi, compliment someone - it might just make their day

☀️ You are gonna to have bad days, you are going to feel shit - that’s ok, know it will pass and be kind to yourself

☀️ Do what you love

☀️ It’s ok to have boundaries and say no

☀️ It’s also ok for others to have boundaries and say no

☀️ Stay in your lane - stop comparing and do you - you are the only you there is no one else is the same

☀️ Believe in yourself - others will believe in you

☀️ Those who are meant for you will come in and those who aren’t will leave
